Six Months with the Pixel 10 Pro: An Owner's Honest Review

by demo Β· September 13, 2026 Β· editor-approved

After six months with the Pixel 10 Pro, here's what nobody mentions in launch reviews.

The camera is genuinely great β€” but not because of hardware. Google's processing makes my partner's iPhone photos look over-sharpened by comparison in anything but perfect light. Night Sight still feels like magic two years after I first used it.

What surprised me: the battery. Not the capacity β€” the consistency. Every phone I've owned had that one app that randomly ate 40% overnight. This one just... doesn't. Seven years of updates means I actually believe I'll keep it until 2031, which changes how I think about the $999 price. That's $143/year β€” less than my old two-year upgrade cycle.

The one real complaint: the fingerprint reader is still a beat slower than the ultrasonic ones Samsung and OnePlus use. Not dealbreaker slow. Just noticeable, every day, forever.

Bottom line: if you keep phones long, this is the easiest recommendation in Android.
