Frequently Asked Questions
How do you choose which products to review?
We prioritize what readers buy most and what's genuinely new β flagship phones, popular laptops, TVs in common sizes, and reader requests. You can request a review via the contact page.
Do companies pay for reviews?
Never. Scores are locked before publication. Brands can pay only for clearly labeled advertising that never influences editorial content.
How is the user rating calculated?
It's the simple average of all approved community reviews (1β5 stars). One account = one review per product. We remove fake or incentivized reviews when detected.
How do I list my tech business in the directory?
Use the contact page with the subject 'Business listing'. Our team verifies phone, address, and ownership before the β Verified badge appears. Listing is free.
Why was my review removed?
Usually for: fake/incentivized content, profanity or personal attacks, or not owning the product. Repeated abuse leads to a ban. You can appeal via contact.
What do the editor's scores mean?
A 0β100 score from our lab testing: 90+ exceptional, 80β89 excellent, 70β79 good, 60β69 average, below 60 hard to recommend. See our full methodology on the How We Test page.
Do you make money from links?
No. We use no affiliate links and take no commissions β our scores and rankings are never tied to sales, which keeps every recommendation 100% honest.
